CONSECRATION
AND FAITH PLEDGE
February,
1881
An act of consecration in which
we yield up ourselves and our all – body, soul and
spirit, time, talents, possessions, all that we have,
and all that we are – in unconditional surrender
to God, is necessary to every one who would receive at
His hands that priceless blessing of a clean heart. That
blessing, like every other good thing promised in the
Gospel, is to be received by faith; and it is only by
entire surrender that we can come on to believing ground,
and be in a position to exercise faith for so great a
benefit. - D. Clark
Consecration
Pledge
Dear Lord; I present myself unreservedly to Thee.
My time.
My talents.
My tongue.
My will.
My property.
My reputation.
My entire being.
To be, and to do, anything You require of me.
Faith Pledge
Now as I have given myself away,
I am no longer my own, but all the Lord’s.
I trust You Lord to work in me all the good pleasure of
Your will.
As I do give myself to You, I believe That You receive
me now.
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate,
saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I
will receive you.”
2 Corinthians 6:17
